Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the longest sea-crossing bridge in the world, and also the “super-engineering” with the most complex technologies, the highest environmentally-friendly requirements and the highest construction standards in the history of bridge construction in China. The bridge is built over the Lingdingyang sea waters, east to the Hong Kong SAR, and west to Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province and Macao SAR. With a total length of about 55 kilometers, it is the first large-scale cross-sea traffic project jointly built by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao under the policy of “one country, two systems”. The bridge has greatly facilitated the exchanges and trade and economic ties among the three places and promoted the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Zhuhai Highway Port
Located on the north side of the Zhuhai-Macao artificial island, it is the core component of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It is the only highway port in the Pearl River Delta featuring the “three-city connection and double functions for passengers and cargos”. It is also an operation center integrating the transportation, management, service, rescue and sightseeing.
